It was a really cold night. The moon was full and lit the Manor With No Name, called in this way for it had been deserted for so many years that no one remembered whose it was, and in those days every thing had to be named...
So, The Manor With No Name was the highest manor surrounding, and also the creepiest, because of its gothic architecture and its dismal gardens, filled with black weeds that climbed along the stones, along the gloomy sculptures, along the dead hedges, along the crooked trees and the stunted counterfoils...
And all of a sudden, hysterical screams broke the silence that was ruling over the place. They were coming from the inside of the Manor. And more precisely, from the First Living Room.
It was a huge room that was used to give sumptuous receptions, and that was lavishly decorated : heavy curtains of an elegant maroon velvet, luxury sofas with legs of massive gold, precious panelings and hangings of a costly and brilliant silk...
And in the middle of the room, between the priceless japanese low table and the gorgeous Morrocan carpet , a woman was yelling. She was tall and thin and had perfect platinium blond curls and a furious grimace on the corner of her fleshy scarlet mouth. And her screams were just out of place... Indeed, she was cursing at a man_ who was completely becoming bowed_ saying :
« WHAT ? WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE ? I...I just can't believe it... I WILL CUT YOU INTO PIECES, I WILL TEAR YOU TO RIBBONS, I WILL GIVE YOU A SOAK INTO SULFURIC ACID...I WILL GOUGE YOUR EYES OUT, I WILL... I WILL EMASCULATE YOU ! I SWEAR ! YOU WILL SUFFER »
At the end of her speech, the man who hadn't ceased moving back, collapsed face down on the carpet, killed outright. Poor guy...He had a heart condition...
_ "STOOOOOOOP ! Nice stuff, you guys ! This scene was perfect, just... Thanks... So, now..."
The "dead" man got p, dusted his black coat and smiled to the woman. He told her :
" Phew ! I would not have loved to do it just one more time... Oh! I wanted to say that you were really great !
- I know, Phil... It's why I am an actress...
- You are right...
- As always..."
